Lindsey Knott, PHD

Dr. Lindsey Knott is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Texas who provides evidence-based psychotherapy to adults and adolescents with anxiety, trauma, & depressive symptoms. She completed her PhD in clinical psychology from Western Michigan University and post-doctoral training at Baylor College of Medicine where her focus of research and practice was on the application of contemporary cognitive-behavioral approaches in adult and adolescent psychotherapy. She is professionally trained in evidence-based treatments for a broad range of concerns, including anxiety disorders, trauma & PTSD, OCD, perfectionism, procrastination, and depression. Dr. Knott has worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health, residential and partial hospitalization programs, inpatient psychiatric units, VA hospitals, and numerous outpatient clinics. She recently transitioned out of a role as a Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine where she served as director of an intensive outpatient program, provided supervision to psychology fellows and medical residents, and offered training and education to staff across BCM. Dr. Knott currently offers both in-person appointments and telehealth services for those across the United States under PSYPACT jurisdiction to practice telehealth.
